Introducing the AskDeck blog
Welcome to the AskDeck blog — product updates, practical guides on pitching and decks, and the occasional look behind the scenes.
Hello, and welcome to the AskDeck blog.
If we haven't met yet: AskDeck builds investor-ready pitch decks and business presentations on demand. You brief it however you like — call our AI agent Eric by voice, send a text, fill out the web brief, or just email him — and you get back a real, editable PowerPoint you can open, tweak, and present. No template wrestling. No blank-slide dread. Made for the deadline.
Why we're writing
We spend our days thinking about decks: what makes one land, what makes one die in a crowded inbox, and how to get a good one built before the meeting you forgot was tomorrow. That's a lot of hard-won opinion to keep to ourselves.
So this is where we'll share it. Not press releases. Not buzzword soup. Just useful things, written plainly, from people who look at presentations all day.
What to expect
We're keeping it simple. Expect three kinds of posts:
- Product updates. New features, improvements, and the occasional honest note about what we changed and why.
- Practical guides. How to structure a pitch, what investors look for, how to brief well so you get a better deck back, and when to cut a slide instead of adding one.
- Behind the scenes. How we think about design, how Eric works, and the small decisions that add up to a deck that doesn't look like everyone else's.
A couple of promises
We'll respect your time — short posts, tight writing, no filler. And we'll be honest. We're not going to invent statistics or dress up a guess as a guarantee. If we don't know something yet, we'll say so.
That's the whole plan. Subscribe if you want the next one, or just check back when a deadline is bearing down and you need a sharper deck than the one you're staring at.
Thanks for reading. We're glad you're here.
